Secular President:
The Need For Secular Conservative or Libertarian Becomes Great.
By: Gölök Z.L.F. Buday (XII-11-07 13:00)
Patrick J. Buchanan, M.Dr. Ron "Ronald" E. Paul, Richard "Dick" Lamm, or Fred D. Thompson. The need for a more secular alternative independent may be as needed as Evangelicals found was needed with charasmatic Baptist Minister Huckabee or Joseph Smith Worshipper (if he has a belief or opinion other than power seeking) Romney in the race seen as front runners. Can Ron E. Paul or anyone rule out an independent run so early? Huckabee may be created by the fair threat of 911ist, Guilliani, a possible self loathing lapsed Catholic, and lover of power winning and a third party evangelical third party/independent threat. Either way a Papist, Muslim, Sikh, or Ju is screwed. Either way someone's faith practiced is under threat or being furthered. These cult versions of faith, including politician ministries, are threat to anyone not in their club. Can a Libertarian or a Conservative "unsaved" relgious figure feel comfort with Huckabee, Romney, English Church theocratic variety Candidates, or even Guilliani? How could someone stand by and let that run and win just because of brand name loyalty. Would that be Dr. No voting Yes, would not running independent be an endorcement of pro-war theocrats? Would this be true of anyone else, who would there be left to vote for the Socialist Party Candidate? Shall we dive in and recover the tea? Should John Adams repent? Benedict Arnold's can be those who do not stop him or her. So what if votes wander to you in another's favor?
A Patrick J. Buchanan or Ralph Nader would say, it's their fault not mine. Changed his tune a bit, not being a Reform/Independent selection now he says it would help the Democrat so don't do it, I think the only thing that helps the red or blue lose a vote is the red or blue. Ron Paul in itself has brought people who'd even vote Democrat if he wasn't running or Green even. Some Libertarians in a die hard fashion. So how would it only hurt the deserving Republican Party Candidate? How would Buchanan or any other Libertarian Populist or Pitfork Brigader? If PJB's original assertion is currect from 2000, it's the GOP's fault. It is not an Empire, it is not a Eldership of Theocrats like that who had Jesus arrested and killed. It's a Republic, a Constitutional Republic, with a Constitution that knows nothing of Political Parties, one that had no primaries originally and only a general election. One Federalist Caucus started close to it's end as a major party.
Edmund Burk said, For evil to thrive, it takes good men to do nothing. Will they do the wrong kind of nothing or the right kind of something? Patrick J. Buchanan may as well become "saved" if he's so convinced this is the way, because it's the only way to remain safe with non-Catholic theocrats and cults in charge. It may be true, there's supposed to be a separation of powers, checks and balances, but with Lawyers in congress and party brand rule, how much of it remains unless you screw up like Bush Jr? If we are stuck with our back to our walls, in danger of defending ourselves against sectarian rule and wars. Who will stand and fight it philosophically before arms are called for?
